Having a freezer full of meat is only valuable if you’re actively using it. This month, my goal is to cook through all the frozen meat in my freezers and either eat it or convert it into ready-to-thaw, cooked meals. By doing this, I’m preparing for my shearer’s visit in March, where my freezers will once again be stocked with lamb shares. Knowing where my food comes from—and being intentional about how I use it—has become an essential part of my lifestyle.
